Proposals Before the Connecticut Legislature

On March 5, 2013, the Gun Violence working group of the Bipartisan Task Force on Gun Violence and Children’s Safety released two competing proposals to address gun violence: a Democratic consensus, and a Republican consensus [click to open]. These proposals overlap in part with Governor Malloy’s proposal, first made public in late February. Here’s a quick guide to how each proposal compares to our recommendations:
